Scott is a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Indiana and a National Certified Counselor. He joined the 色狐入口 Counseling Staff in August 2010. He graduated from Anderson University in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology and from Indiana State University in 2007 with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has previously worked as a counselor at community mental health centers and a state prison.听

He has experience working with a wide array of both clinical and everyday struggles. In practice, Scott primarily operates from mindfulness-based approaches. He uses the counseling process to help students connect with their struggles in a way that enhances their ability to commit to a meaningful life based on freely-chosen values.

Bio

Becky received her undergraduate degree in Sociology-Social Work from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana and continued her education at the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas where she received her Master's of Education in Counseling. She returned from Texas and was a Clinical Counselor at Franklin College.听 She enjoys working with students to help them live healthy, happy lives.

Outside of her work with college students, Becky has extensive Custody Evaluation experience in the court systems in Indiana and has taught numerous college courses in Psychology, Sociology, and Wellness at Franklin College and Ivy Tech Community College. As a clinician, Becky believes in creating a supportive, welcoming space for students where they can be supported in their efforts to make change and grow. Her therapy practice is rooted in self-awareness, holistic health and well-being, and positive psychology elements.听

Bio

Nidhal is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She graduated with an MSW from Temple University and a BA from Earlham College. Nidhal is a trauma-informed clinician with additional training in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure and has completed Level I and Level II of Internal Family Systems training. Nidhal tailors her approach to meet the needs of each student individually.听

During the therapeutic process, Nidhal's work is informed by the Polyvagal nervous system, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and strengths-based techniques. She addresses a wide range of struggles including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and multiracial/multicultural/multi-ethnic issues.

Jack is a clinical trainee and a graduate student in the PsyD program at the University of Indianapolis. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from Holy Cross College and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. He has previously worked in college counseling and private practice settings.

Jack primarily works from a person-centered and acceptance-based perspective in an effort to assist clients in increasing their self-compassion and developing a greater understanding of their symptoms. He has specific clinical interests in obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief/bereavement, and transitioning in/out of college. In his free time, Jack likes to read, go for walks, and watch hockey.

Kaitlyn is currently a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at the University of Indianapolis. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay in May 2024. During her undergraduate studies, Kaitlyn served as a peer mentor through the university's counseling center and volunteered as a crisis counselor for Monterey County Crisis Center.听

Her clinical interests include supporting college students as they navigate challenges related to belonging, relationships, self-esteem, and life transitions. She is equally passionate about working with individuals facing a variety of concerns, with the goal of creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives. Kaitlyn is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for students from diverse backgrounds. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys exploring Indiana by trying new activities and discovering local food and coffee spots.听

Ramya Kommu is a doctoral trainee from the University of Indianapolis who is completing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. Ramya graduated with her MA in Clinical Psychology from Boston University and with her BS in Psychology from George Mason听University.

Ramya enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. She values creating a supportive, collaborative space where individuals feel heard and understood.听Outside of her clinical work, Ramya enjoys reading, traveling, and听loves听animals.

Bio

Dr. Snelson completed his pre-med program and attained his MD from Indiana University. He has practiced psychiatry for over 35 years and has vast experience working with a number of mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and Bipolar. In particular, he has a lot of experience working with young adults. Dr. Snelson is generally on campus for appointments 2 days per month.
